A dining table and chairs were purchased and delivered to the large foster family of Svitlana Shipkova. The family, raising 7 foster children in Zaitseve, Dnipropetrovsk region, faces numerous challenges due to the ongoing conflict, which has severely affected their rural community. With limited access to communication and education, the parents continue to work hard to provide the children with a sense of stability and support their socialization despite the difficult circumstances.

We purchased and delivered a refrigerator for the large family of Yelyzaveta and Oleksii Braginets. The family, residing in Buzova village, Kyiv region, is raising and caring for 14 children, all from orphanages. 

The new refrigerator will help them store food and better manage the household needs of such a large family.

We purchased and delivered medical supplies for a child with diabetes from the family-type children’s home of Olha Chechera. The supplies included a blood glucose monitoring system and 12 packs of test strips. The family cares for 10 children, who are internally displaced from the village in Kharkiv region. In June of this year, the youngest daughter, Sasha (2 years old), was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in a severe form.

We provided the Serechenko family from Dnipropetrovsk region with a gas stove. Their family-type children’s home, which is currently raising six children, recently moved to a larger house to ensure comfort and convenience for every child. The new house had a small and malfunctioning stove, making our assistance crucial for their daily needs.

In the Shatyrko family-type children’s home, nine children are being raised. Their home in Chernihiv Oblast was partially destroyed by bombings. As they work on rebuilding and re-furnishing their house, we provided them essential furniture including a wardrobe, a computer desk, and shelves.

The Shermuk family-type children’s home was established just two days before the full-scale invasion. Yana has two biological children—Sofia (16 years old) and Anatoly (13 years old)—and in 2022, she took in six siblings into her family. As Yana raises the children on her own, she needs support. We purchased and delivered a freezer, which is essential for managing a large household.

The Paskevich family, from Dnipropetrovsk region, who run a family-type children’s home and are internally displaced due to the war, received tablets from us to aid the educational process. These devices have become a crucial support for the 10 children in their care. Now, each child will have the opportunity to learn in comfortable conditions.

Currently, 10 children are being raised in the Tkalya family-type children’s home. The family previously lived in Marganets, Dnipropetrovsk region, but had to evacuate due to shelling. They now reside in a rented house and are in great need of support, as life goes on, the children are growing, and they need to be provided with everything necessary.

We have provided essential household appliances to support Alona Blahoveshchenska’s family-type children’s home in Kamyanske, Dnipropetrovsk region. With a kitchen stove and extractor hood, this assistance aids Alona, who single-handedly raises 9 children aged 10 to 16, including two with disabilities. These appliances were urgently needed after their old ones broke, easing financial worries and supporting their daily lives.

Three family-type children’s homes have received tablets. Specifically, the families of Tetiana Oleksiuk, Angelika Sitchenko, and Yana Batyuk, who care for a total of 28 children, have received 5 tablets. Today, due to Russian military aggression, family-type children’s homes and large families require special attention. Through our assistance program, we provide necessary conditions for education, self-development, and acquiring new skills.

We’ve delivered a washing machine to support the Musiyenko Larisa family-type children’s home in Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region. They care for 9 children aged 7 to 17. The war has deeply affected the children, making them more anxious and subdued. Frequent power outages have damaged their appliances. This washing machine will help ease their daily challenges and improve their living conditions.

We have supplied a refrigerator to support the Velikanova Yevheniia family-type children’s home. Currently, they care for seven children, including two newborns in temporary care. Located in Dnipro, they constantly hear the sounds of war – sirens, drones, explosions. Despite these challenges, home and family unity remain paramount to them. They strive to create an atmosphere of love, support, and safety for all their children during these difficult times.

We have provided Tataryova Zoia family-type children’s home in Kirovohrad region with much-needed household appliances. With 7 children under their care, facing the challenges of war, the donation of a vacuum cleaner, mixer, and waffle maker aims to ease their daily lives. Families like Tataryova Zoia’s require crucial support during these times to ensure their well-being amidst significant challenges.

We have provided a refrigerator to the Rudoi Liubov family-type children’s home. The family, residing in Krutenky village, Chernivtsi region, is raising 6 foster and 8 biological children aged 6 to 19 years old. They are in need of support as their household appliances are already in semi-working condition due to intensive use, and their budget does not cover all their needs. This refrigerator will significantly improve their living conditions and help provide for the children’s needs more effectively.

We have purchased and delivered a gas boiler to support the Matyash Sergey family-type children’s home. The family, living in Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region, is raising 7 children. Since the start of the full-scale war, they have faced many challenges, with rising prices making everything more expensive. They care for two children with disabilities who require surgery and rehabilitation, and their house needs expansion and repairs.

We have provided a shower cabin to a family from the Kirovohrad region. Currently, the family is raising 7 children, including their eldest biological daughter who has a disability and requires constant care. The addition of this shower cabin is essential for them, greatly improving their daily living conditions and providing much-needed convenience. With this support, the family can better manage their daily routines and ensure a higher quality of life for their children.
