A dining table and chairs were purchased and delivered to the large foster family of Svitlana Shipkova. The family, raising 7 foster children in Zaitseve, Dnipropetrovsk region, faces numerous challenges due to the ongoing conflict, which has severely affected their rural community. With limited access to communication and education, the parents continue to work hard to provide the children with a sense of stability and support their socialization despite the difficult circumstances.

Refrigerator for Braginets large family

We purchased and delivered a refrigerator for the large family of Yelyzaveta and Oleksii Braginets. The family, residing in Buzova village, Kyiv region, is raising and caring for 14 children, all from orphanages. 

The new refrigerator will help them store food and better manage the household needs of such a large family.

Help to the child in a family-type children’s home

We purchased and delivered medical supplies for a child with diabetes from the family-type children’s home of Olha Chechera. The supplies included a blood glucose monitoring system and 12 packs of test strips. The family cares for 10 children, who are internally displaced from the village in Kharkiv region. In June of this year, the youngest daughter, Sasha (2 years old), was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in a severe form.

We provided the Serechenko family from Dnipropetrovsk region with a gas stove. Their family-type children’s home, which is currently raising six children, recently moved to a larger house to ensure comfort and convenience for every child. The new house had a small and malfunctioning stove, making our assistance crucial for their daily needs.

In the Shatyrko family-type children’s home, nine children are being raised. Their home in Chernihiv Oblast was partially destroyed by bombings. As they work on rebuilding and re-furnishing their house, we provided them essential furniture including a wardrobe, a computer desk, and shelves.

Yana has two biological children—Sofia (16 years old) and Anatoly (13 years old)—and in 2022, she took in six siblings into her family. As Yana raises the children on her own, she needs support. We purchased and delivered a freezer, which is essential for managing a large household.

Specifically, the families of Tetiana Oleksiuk, Angelika Sitchenko, and Yana Batyuk, who care for a total of 28 children, have received 5 tablets. Today, due to Russian military aggression, family-type children’s homes and large families require special attention. Through our assistance program, we provide necessary conditions for education, self-development, and acquiring new skills.
