Support for Matyash Serhіy Family-Type Children’s Home

We provided a Whirlpool dishwasher to the Shatyrko family-type children’s home in the village of Kyinka, Chernihiv region. The family, led by foster mother Anna, is raising ten children—eight adopted and two biological. Despite their home suffering significant damage during the war and a fire caused by power surges, they have nearly restored it over the past two years. This support helps create a more comfortable and nurturing environment for the entire family.

We provided a Whirlpool washing machine to the Savchuk family-type children’s home in the town of Maheriv, Lviv region. The family, raising five children, began fostering in 2015, inspired by their biological daughter’s wish for a sibling. Originally from the city of Oleshky, Kherson region, they were forced to evacuate due to the war and now rent a house, rebuilding their lives from scratch. Despite the challenges, the family remains united.

We provided a Gorenje cooktop to the Horzov family-type children’s home in the village of Bilky, Zakarpattia region. Since 2010, Petro and Nelya Horzov have been fostering children, beginning with a 17-year-old girl who later pursued higher education. Currently, they care for seven children, focusing on providing a nurturing environment that emphasizes education, life skills, and personal development. The new cooktop will support the family’s daily needs and contribute to a comfortable home life.

We provided an Epson printer to the Vydiuk family-type children’s home in Lviv. The family is raising ten children—nine adopted siblings and one biological daughter. Their journey began after years of volunteering, leading them to establish a family-type children’s home to offer a loving environment for children in need. The printer will support the children’s education and daily learning activities.

We provided two transforming desks to the Streltsova family-type children’s home in the village of Malomykolaivka, Dnipropetrovsk region. The family, caring for five foster children, began their journey in 2007 when Tetiana Streltsova’s biological son brought home a classmate in need. Over the years, their commitment grew, and in 2021, they officially became a family-type children’s home. The new desks will support the youngest children, who are starting first grade with remote learning, by providing a comfortable and safe study environment.

We provided furniture to the Kuzina family-type children’s home in Cherkasy. The family, raising nine children, has been fostering since 1995, including children affected by the Chornobyl disaster, children with disabilities, and orphans. Their dedication has enabled many children to overcome challenges and pursue higher education.

We provided a Gorenje washing machine to the Vasylchenko family-type children’s home in Pokrovske, Dnipropetrovsk region. The family, raising eight children, was established in March 2022, continuing a tradition of care that began with the founder’s mother in 2006. After evacuating to Turkey due to the war, they returned to Ukraine in September 2024, determined to rebuild their lives.

We provided a combined cooktop to the Veklych family-type children’s home in the village of Lozuvatka, Dnipropetrovsk region, where ten children—nine of them adopted—are being raised. The family has been fostering children for ten years, creating a nurturing environment filled with love and support. After spending two and a half years abroad due to the war, they returned home in the fall of 2024, welcoming four more children into their family.

We provided a gasoline generator to the Chechera family-type children’s home in Liubotyn, Kharkiv region. The family, raising nine children, was forced to relocate from Kupiansk due to the war. Their new home, offered rent-free, requires significant repairs, and frequent blackouts have made daily life challenging. The generator ensures the children have a stable and comfortable environment despite ongoing power outages.

We purchased and delivered a two-compartment refrigerator to the Andronov family-type children’s home in Cherkasy. Originally from Marhanets, Dnipropetrovsk region, the family was forced to relocate due to the war and now cares for eight children. Since 2011, they have fostered and guided 12 children into independent life. The new refrigerator will help them create a more comfortable and stable home environment for their children.
