Houshold items for Tatarova family from Kirovohrad region

In April 2022, due to the full-scale war, the Kozarovska family, who are raising 9 children, evacuated to Chernivtsi, where they stayed for almost a year. Then, in March 2023, they returned to the Kharkiv region, where they currently reside. The family lives very harmoniously but has many needs that cannot be fully met. One of these needs is educational materials and devices, so we purchased and provided tablets for them. This enables the children to study online and complete their schoolwork.

We purchased and delivered a refrigerator to the Kuznetsova family, which is raising 10 children. It was very difficult to leave their hometown due to the war, they left behind dreams, plans, their entire life. Currently, they reside in the Chernivtsi region in a house provided by people. Local and regional services helped them adapt to their new location and provided assistance in purchasing necessary items and household appliances. However, unfortunately, they still have needs that they are unable to meet on their own at the moment.

We purchased and delivered a refrigerator to the Marchenko family-type children’s home, where 6 children are being raised. The family experienced occupation in their hometown but, desiring to live in safe conditions and in territory controlled by Ukraine, they moved to the Cherkasy region. Here, they are settling into their new life and striving to create the most favorable living conditions possible for the children.

We purchased and delivered a washing machine to the Moysiuk family from the Dnipropetrovsk region, where they are raising 9 children. The war has greatly changed their lives. The children were very frightened. In April 2022, they moved to Chernivtsi. At first, they did not want to leave, but decided that the safety of the children was paramount. In February they returned home but are oppressed by household difficulties – constant nearby explosions, air raids, lack of drinking water, power outages, significant rise in the cost of living, etc.

We provided school supplies to the Yurychko family-type children’s home, including school backpacks, drawing albums, pencils, paints, and more. The family lived peacefully and harmoniously until February 24, 2022. After the invasion, they had to leave their own home, which is currently in ruins. The safety of the children and being together as a family are their top priorities. So, they rented a house in the Lviv region and are now setting up their new life there.

We purchased and delivered household appliances for the Vasilyeva family-type children’s home, namely a membrane water purification system, iron, and vacuum cleaner. The family is raising 9 children aged 1 to 22, currently living in Kryvyi Rih (displaced from the Kherson region). The region periodically faces water difficulties due to constant shelling of the Ukrainian power system, and the need for other household appliances arose because the previous ones were no longer functioning. With many children in the family, expenses are high, especially when renting an apartment, so such support is hugely important.

We provided a dryer for Svitlana Petrushenko’s family, consisting of six children aged 14 to 19. They live in Borislav, Lviv region, having been displaced from Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia region due to the war. When the war began, they had to move away from the combat zone as their city is now on the front line. Despite longing to return home, they face ongoing challenges, including limited household resources for comfortable living.

We provided household appliances, namely: a shower cabin and a gas stove, for the Savchuk family. The family consists of 7 children aged 6 to 18 years old. They reside in Lviv region and are displaced from Kherson region, Oleshki city. The family lived under occupation for 1.5 months and decided to leave.

“We are striving to create favorable living conditions in our new home, to make it comfortable and well-equipped. Though the children dream of returning home, to their school, community, to a house with their own rooms.” – says Olena.

In the family, there are 10 children aged 6 to 17, including 7 girls and 3 boys. Currently, they reside in the Lviv region (twice displaced from the Donetsk region). Their hometown is occupied, and their house is destroyed. They have started a new life, but it’s challenging for such a large family. Their needs are immense, and coping with everything is difficult, so they greatly need support.

The Shkuropat family-type children’s home from Dnipropetrovsk region has 7 children living there, 5 of whom are fostered. This family is preparing to take in three more children, and they’re arranging a separate room for them. It’s crucial to support such families. Therefore, we’ve provided a bunk bed, bedding sets, pillows, as well as hygiene products and household chemicals.
